An Idiot

I feel like an idiot this week.

We opened new bank accounts online at the Bank of America this week. Easy process to open the accounts. However, navigating through their website to find the info I needed regarding debit cards, ordering checks, and our routing and account numbers was incredibly frustrating. "This is not rocket science," I kept telling myself. Yet, it seemed to be just as difficult at times.

I've started reading the Da Vinci Code. Yes, I'm one of the few in the world who haven't yet read the book or seen the movie. Anyway, as most folks know, there seems to be a fair amount of French in the book, which I know nothing about and can accept as truly foreign to me. However, I find myself struggling with several English words in the book and that troubles me. I've always considered myself to be of average intelligence, but I don't know what the hell the word "prelature" means.

I colored my hair tonight in an effort to rid my scalp of an ever-increasing army of gray hairs. Again, the at-home coloring process is not rocket science. Yet, the instructions included with this kit were different than those I have used in the past. I must have read and re-read those damn instructions four times before I "got it."

God... idiot!
