Dept. of Homeland Security Can't Secure Their Own Headquarters

Well, here's a news story that made me shake my head in dismay. Or, was it disgust? The U.S. Department of Homeland Security allowed a retired New York city policeman to enter a building where the DHS is headquartered, after reviewing his fake ID. The false ID card included an inaccurate date of birth for the man, however that discrepancy didn't seem to raise any red flags for our esteemed security personnel at DHS. Bruce DeCell, the retired policeman, "said he has used the card for years in airports and other sensitive locations, but was still astonished that he was able to use it to enter the headquarters of Homeland Security, the federal agency charged with determining secure IDs."

These guys just continue to amaze me.

Too funny. For some reason, I pictured Leslie Nielsen as Frank Drebin strolling right through the security gate . . . which is probably not too far from the truth.

word verification: yuggy . . . from the Kama Sutra, I believe.

I had the same thought actually! Oh, that is funny!

Yes, you are correct about yuggy... it can be found in chapter 9. I'm glad to see you remember the lesson. :)
