Sheesh, I just realized that, even though this was my own Word of the Day, I've been mispronouncing it all along. Instead of ahn-wee, I've been saying en-u-eye.

I have a habit of doing this, my husband will attest to that fact. The Carotid Artery was the Care-O-Tid Artery for a very long time.

Remember a few years ago, a company was marketing the Tripledge windshield wipers on TV? Yep, you guessed it. They weren't Triple-Edge wipers for me... they were Tri-Pledge wipers.

I saw a vanity license plate on a Chevy truck the other day -- LIKAROK -- and all that came to mind was, "Lick a rock?" Huh? I don't get it.

I am definitely slipping.
